Transfer your files on the go using OneDrive

The Olympus Dictation Delivery Service (ODDS) has been carefully designed to manage the transfer of any dictations recorded using the Olympus Dictation App for iPhone and Android. Simply record using your phone, and push the dictation into the system workflow - in conjunction with ODMS Transcription, you can have it transcribed before you’re back in the office.

ODDS is a professional cloud solution that’s there for you when you need to dictate but don’t have your gear with you. The team at Olympus are always looking for ways to make ODDS more efficient in order to keep your workflow smooth - and the app is crammed with all the features you’ll need to record on the go. You can create new files, navigate the recording using the play, rewind and fast-forward settings, and even adjust the sensitivity of your microphone to ensure you’re getting the best possible audio quality.

Other features include bluetooth microphone support, the option to add pictures and text comments to your recordings, and the option to transfer by FTP, email and, with the release of Olympus Dictation App Ver 2.20, you can also transfer using OneDrive.

With the latest update, you can send dictations from the Olympus Dictation App via ODDS to OneDrive Cloud storage. Simply use the existing OneDrive’s Files on Demand function to sync your files from the cloud to local storage, in order to receive dictation with ODSM. All you have to do is download the Olympus Dictation App and select OneDrive in the setup wizard to get things rolling.
