Philips DPM 6000 Digital Recorder
Philips have just released their new generation of recorder. Designed with ergonomics in mind, the design makes use of push button controls to allow you to use it single-handed. You can play, record, fast-forward, rewind and stop using these buttons - and once you’re finished, push the End of Letter button, marking your file as complete and setting up a new file
Made from extremely lightweight stainless steel, this clever piece of kit is perfect for occasions where you need to dictate for a long period of time - and it’s robust enough to carry around with you when you’re on the go, so you can throw it into your bag and take it with you wherever business takes you.
Philips have mastered superior audio performance, and the two built-in omnidirectional microphones reflect this handsomely, ensuring you’re always heard when you start to dictate, even in noisy environments.
Once you’re ready to share your audio recordings, you can make use of the Philips SpeechExec Dictate software included in this package. Simply connect the recorder to your computer and the software will automatically download all of your completed files and send them via your internal network to your typist - alternatively, the files can be emailed to anyone who needs to hear them. Once you upload your files to your computer, the software will back them up so you never have to worry about losing something important.
Thanks to the DPM6000’s high capacity Li-ion battery and the introduction of power saving features, you’ll be able to record for hours without needing to reach for the USB cable to recharge the recorder. The 16GB SD Memory Card we’ve included in the package will come in handy here - offering 690 hours of record time in DSS Mode, or 340 hours in DS2 mode.
Let Philips provide you with everything you need to get started with optimising your workflow efficiency using a suite of their clever tools. Once you’ve built the foundations of your workflow, you can always upgrade your software or introduce the optional docking station and foot pedal for hands-free dictation and transcription, but if you’re just starting out, this package is a great place to begin.
